Help needed: obscure Cockney phrases

by Gordon 10. January 2010 09:50

"My mum used the phrases: HOW'S YOUR BELLY OFF OF SPOTS" and "HOW'S YOUR MOTHER OFF OF DRIPPING"?"

Re. "HOW'S YOUR MOTHER OFF OF DRIPPING"?"

I wonder if it was actually "How's your mother off for dripping?" which would sound almost identical.

How I remember the phrase is a two-parter.
Whos ya belly off for spots?
Two more should cover it
